Our last stay from our honeymoon was the perfect way to end it. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. You can’t describe the beauty of the view, the rooms and the service that comes with it! Nearby you can take a boat and spot a lot of beautiful whales. We would recommend this stay to everyone!

Rooms: The most amazing rooms we have ever seen. The space, the view and everything you see is perfect!

Safety: When entering the area there is security that makes it really safe. Only people who work or live there get to enter the property.

Food and drinks: There is always food available which gets prepared in the kitchen for breakfast or lunch. For dinner you can order food or nearby in the town there are some real nice restaurants.

Bjorn und Pichy haben ein Paradies auf Erden geschaffen.
Das Haus mit Zugang und Blick aufs Meer ist traumhaft schön; man kann sich kaum daran sattsehen. Von Empfang bis Abreise war ALLES Perfekt, wir wurden von A-Z verwöhnt, das ganze Team ist unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet, die Betten super bequem, es fehlt an Nichts! Das Frühstück, sowie die weitere Verpflegung war sensationell! Es ist uns sehr schwer gefallen abzureisen, und wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Pure Sea was the best accomodation we ever had! The location overlooking the ocean is breath-taking. We could see whales from our terrace and also zebras and elands on the premises. My only complaint is that we only had one night at this beautiful piece of paradise. Traveling from Canada - we toured through this area and found Pure Sea as a last minute booking - it is so amazing - Pichy & Björn have created this amazing lodge, where there is no time, the rooms were amazing, the setting magical - whales, zebras, fynbos and beach; they were so accomodating - and the massage was a great - and the rest of the staff were all amazing. thank you Pichy and Björn

We are quite well travelled and I dont normally write top reviews but this place is so amazing that i feel i have to share with fellow travellers to serve its full justice. The site is built on a rare, raw scenery setting presented with the world's top luxury and attention to details in the building. Bjorn and Pichy are both passionate hosts making sure guests leave with some lifetime memories. We just admire all they have done here.

Für uns war die Zeit in der Pure Sea Lodge einfach traumhaft. Vom Ausblick auf das Meer konnte man sich nicht sattsehen.
Zum Frühstück konnte man aus einer Karte tolle Gerichte auswählen und/oder etwas vom Buffet nehmen. Wir konnten einen wundervollen Sonnenuntergang im Hot Tub mit einer hervorragenden Tapasplatte und Wein genießen.
Die Gastgeber haben uns von Anfang bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthaltes ein herzlichen Gefühl gegeben.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Pure Sea Lodge war unvergesslich und wunderschön. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von den Gastgebern Pichy und Bjorn mit einem Willkommensdrink herzlich begrüsst. Die wunderschöne Villa mit 4 Gästezimmern liegt in einem überwachten Estate und hat von allen Zimmern einen direkten Meerzugang

Die Zimmer sind wundervoll eingerichtet und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Terrasse ist mit Tisch/Stühlen und Liegestühlen ausgestattet. Man könnte stundenlang den wundervollen Ausblick auf das Meer geniessen.

Zum Sonnenuntergang hatten wir die Tapasplatte im Hot Tub bestellt. Nico war sehr aufmerksam und hat einen grandiosen Service geliefert.

Auch das Frühstück war einfach nur lecker und alles wurde sehr liebevoll zubereitet.

Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und bleiben dann etwas länger!

Wow, this lodge is like something out of a Bond movie. The love, care and attention that's been put in to designing and building this property in order to create a work of art if clear.

This is a very special place, treated like a VIP throughout the small number of rooms makes the experience very personal.

The rooms are stunning, with a real focus on sustainability and the environment. There are toiletries provided with a roll top bath and candles. The views of the ocean are put of this world, we saw whales while having breakfast!

Bjorn and Pichy are the ultimate hosts. Nothing was ever an issue, booking transport, excursions ans restaurants for us. We were blown away by their hospitality.

Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options.

Words cannot describe this place nor do pictures do it justice. It is the most beautiful relaxing place to stay in Cape Town (we have travelled around Cape Town and this hands down tops everywhere)…. I don’t even know where to begin - From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most AMAZING Nicol and Colinan. These guys are on it. Anything you need/want they will help you with. Even down to a little chit chat by the pool or in the breakfast room. I absolutely fell in love with these two and want to take them home! A credit to pure sea they are!
I know there are lots of staff behind the scenes we haven’t got to meet and they all do a great job as everything is exceptional.
Pinchy and Bjorn, the owners are great too. The attention to detail in this place is next level! The view - wow wow wow! The aesthetics are also wow wow wow! Nothing is too much trouble. They booked our whale trip and shark diving trip alongside borrowing us their jackets!!
The food is delicious. Lots of orgainic options and gluten free alongside kangen water! I mean come onnnn…. Mind blown! Lots of options for breakfast and the sandwiches are delicious. They also do a tapas platter which is amazing. Anything other than that you can drive out to dine or order in from the local restaurants which we did as you will NOT want to leave this place!
We will be back!

What a beautiful place we were welcomed to. The owner's are super hands-on with a love for detail and design and every room is thoughtfully put together. The view is spectacular and you're just a few steps away from the ocean, I can only imagine what it must be like during whale peak season. The breakfast was delicious and full of options and since we arrived late in the evening we had the option to order in from a great seafood place close by and our meals reached us perfectly plated. It is a great getaway to relax, with an amazing spa and a hot tub. And even though you are surrounded by nature, it is still very accessible and not far from de Kelders to grab a bite or explore the surrounding. Definitely worth it! The most beautiful and relaxing stay! This place is right out of a dream. The views, the beautiful architecture and design, the food and wine, everything was just perfect. The hosts were so hospitable and accommodating as well. We would absolutely love to stay again. We did the hot tub and tapas experience and it was well worth it. Even on a chilly day, the hot tub views were gorgeous and the tapas were delicious.

An absolutely beautiful experience for my partner and I spending her birthday weekend at Pure Sea. The owners and staff are such warm people, they helped make my partner's birthday a memorable one. The cake, happy birthday song, exclusive picnic at the private beach were unmatched. Truly wonderful place and one that'll forever be etched in our hearts. Pure Sea is one of, if not the most, special places we have ever stayed. The hospitality provided is second to none, whilst not being intrusive. The property itself is designed immaculately with such great attention to detail. We had a beach picnic and tapas in the hot tub and both experiences were fantastic, set up to the highest standard and the food prepared was presented beautifully (and tasted amazing!).The zebras roaming the property is a real highlight! The owners have clearly put so much effort into creating the property and really strive to give the guests a unique and luxury experience, which they have achieved!

Wonderful Reception from Bjorn and Pichyani at their stunning property. The Villas are totally luxurious with amazing sea views. The pictures on the website don't do them justice. Great place to chill and relax. We even had Zebras visit us whilst having sun downers. Definitely try the Tapas and have a chill in the hot tub.

Nico heads up the support team which was amazingly helpful in recommending take out options and places to visit near by .

Unique location that was made with so much attention to detail, taste, arichtectonic finesse and passion an unparalleled oasis of peace! The fantastic location on the dunes above an impressive natural beach invites you to relax, swim, and beautiful dune walks. The room was with the most beautiful we have ever had in our holidays, everything was of a high quality, stylish, lovingly decorated and thought out. Very good mattress. Each room has its own, not visible terrace, if you want privacy, otherwise there is a beautiful sun terrace with a small pool and sun loungers, from where we could watch the zebras and the most incredible sunsets. The owners Pitchi and Björn run this little paradise with so much love and dedication, so we immediately felt welcome! The fantastic breakfast and also the tapas in the evening leave nothing to be desired and are also very high quality in terms of quality and preparation! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, especially Niko has told us a lot about nature and the area. For us, here were the two most beautiful days on our holiday, we will be back, for sure !!!!

My stay at Pure Sea Guest Lodge was absolutely exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and valued. The breakfast provided was out of this world! The variety and quality of the food were remarkable, and the flavors were simply delightful. It was a great way to start the day and set the stage for a wonderful experience.
Moreover, the staff's accommodating nature made my stay even more enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any request and made sure that I felt right at home throughout my time at the lodge.

If you are looking for something very special, something that you rarely find anywhere in the world, if you love architecture and like hosts who are very attentive to detail and friendly! then visit this gem!

This place has a Zen quality to it in terms of location and style which immediately makes you feel that you can unwind. Pichy & Björn are relaxed hosts whilst maintaining the highest standard of service with their dedicated team. Our room was beautifully proportioned with a bathroom that was generous allowing you to gaze to the horizon while relaxing in the bath. This is one of the best appointed B&B's we have ever visited with amenities and toiletries. A detail is the floor lighting that has a motion sensor allowing you to find the bathroom at night without breaking a leg! We woke one morning to 3 Zebra enjoying a breakfast of the flowers next our patio which was a novel experience!
We chose to stay in for the first night and had the "platter & wine" offer which was excellent while sitting out on the patio. The price you pay for this outstanding natural beauty location where you can walk to the beach (or the hot tub!) is that restaurants are not on your doorstep. That said there are some good restaurants that offer substantial portions (Blue Goose) and then there is Schneider's! The 20 min drive is worth it as this is a Michelin Star quality experience with novel use of indigenous plants and herbs with local produce.
To be fair you should note that the pricing is clearly aimed at the Overseas Tourist but we still felt is was good value for that special visit. We would certainly go again.

It‘s just the best hotel we have ever experienced. The location is breathtaking and the rooms are so wonderfully designed and invite you to relax. Pichy & Björn and their team are such lovely hosts. The private picnic at the beach was soooo romantic, we really enjoyed it, as we enjoyed every second of our stay. We are coming back for sure.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and the views mesmerizing. The weather was perfect for a walk on the beach and to lie by the pool. We enjoyed a late afternoon drink around the pool. Wish we has stayed in and ordered their tapas instead of driving into town for dinner. Wanted to spend another night - too lovely! Breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared and served.

We spent 1 night here after a 2 day stay in Stanford. It is beautiful. Surreal. We booked with ease and were contacted by Bjorn and Pichy before arrival. We were welcomed with enthusiasm, charm and refreshments. The views are better than advertised. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds are super comfortable and the hospitality beyond question. My wife and I recently stayed at the magical Pure Sea Boutique Lodge in Romansbaii for a spell on our honeymoon.

I struggle to think of a destination I've been to that surpasses the attention to detail, interior design and overall quality of the place.

It felt homely and warm whilst simultaneously exposed and wild. With awe-inspiring sea views and beautiful walks, it's truly a must, and Bjorn, Nico and the whole team were a delight.
